MATTRESS & TEXTILE BAN

Effective November 1, 2022, the MassDEP is adding textiles and mattresses to the list of materials that are banned from disposal. This means that mattresses, box springs and textiles will no longer be allowed in the trash. New state rules require mattresses, boxsprings and textiles be kept out of the trash so they can be recycled or donated for reuse.
