COVID-19 Update from Mendon Parks Department – 3/16/2020.
All playgrounds and the Memorial Park Basketball and Tennis Courts are CLOSED per order of the Mendon Board of Health and Parks Department until further notice. While the Park grounds will remain open for individual use, any gatherings, organized activities, or crowds will be asked to leave.
All Facility Use Permits through April 7th are suspended. We will re-evaluate in a few weeks when more information is available. Any questions surrounding Youth Sports should be directed to the respective leagues.
The Easter Egg Hunt, scheduled for April 4th, has been cancelled.
At this time there are no changes to our summer programming. All programs will run as intended and registrations are still open. As this situation continues to evolve we will discuss and release further updates.
The Parks & Recreation offices will be closed to the public and all business will be by phone, email, or appointment only.
In order to help reduce the spread of COVID-19, we all need to take the warnings of our public health officials seriously and engage in social distancing.
Please feel free to reach out via email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or phone (508-473-0600) with any questions or concerns.
