CLASSIFICATION HEARING PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
The Mendon Select Board and the Board of Assessors will hold a public hearing on property tax classifications on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at 6:35 p.m. in the second-floor conference room at the Town. This will be a hybrid meeting. Instructions for the public to attend remotely wiill be posted with the meetings agenda at the Town's website calendar https://www.mendonma.gov/Calendar.aspx?EID=678&month=11&year=2025&day=19&calType=0.
There will be several policy decision alternatives discussed by those present before the Select Board to determine the guidelines to be established for allocation on the percentage of the tax burden for residential, commercial, industrial and personal property.
Interested taxpayers may present written testimony by 4:00 pm on November 14, 2025 to the Select board Office by email, bosadmin@mendonma.gov. Oral testimony may be given at the hearing but will be limited to three minutes.
