It's hard to believe it with all the snow on the ground but it's time to start thinking about summer! I would like to call your attention to the following summer programs offered by the Mendon Parks Dept. for 2015.
Kids 'N' Us Summer Recreation Program
The Kids 'N' Us Rec Program runs Mon-Fri, 8am-4pm for 10 weeks (June 22nd-Aug 28th) We are open to all kids (including non-Mendon residents) in kindergarten through 8th grade.
The program includes sports, games, arts & crafts, daily swimming and more. We take several field trips over the summer that are included in the price.
The cost is $150/week OR $45/Day OR $25/Half-Day. Feel free to sign up for the week, or a few days. Drop-ins are always welcome!

Swim Lessons
Swimming Lessons will be held at the Mendon Town Beach starting in June. Lessons are held in 2 week sessions, Mon-Fri. (8am-noon) There will be 4 sessions this summer.
Session 1 - 6/29-7/10
Session 2 - 6/13-7/24
Session 3 - 7/27-8/7
Session 4 - 8/10-8/21
Lessons are held at the following times:
Levels 4, 5, & 6 - 8:40am – 9:20am
Level 3 - 9:30am – 10:10am
Level 2 - 10:20am – 11:00am
Level 1 - 11:10am – 11:50am
Level 3 - 9:30am – 10:10am
Level 2 - 10:20am – 11:00am
Level 1 - 11:10am – 11:50am
For those of you who took lessons last year, you will notice a change in the lesson times. This is to ensure that we have 2 lifeguards available for Levels 1, 2, & 3. We have also eliminated the Friday make-up day and will instead offer lessons Mon-Fri with the understanding that if we have to cancel for weather there will be no make-ups.
