Mendon Parks Fall Session 1 Fitness Classes start this week!
NEW!! Fitness Boot Camp
Tuesday & Thursday mornings 9-10am, Sept. 22nd - Oct. 27th @ Veteran's Park (25 Millville St.)
Boot Camp Class will be an interval class that mixes traditional calisthenics with strength training and core conditioning. The intervals will be 30-60 seconds followed by a shorter rest period. Each participant will work at his or her own pace so the class is appropriate for beginners to experts!
Monday nights 7-8pm, Sept. 14th - Oct. 26th @ Clough School (10 North Ave.)
NEW!! Barre Fit
Wednesday nights 7:30-8:30pm, Sept. 16th - Oct. 21st @ Clough School (10 North Ave.)
Barre is the hottest fitness trend. This class uses isometric movements, core strengthening exercises and weight training to improve strength, flexibility and balance in the body. The class uses ballet-inspired movements, however anyone can take the class, there is no dance experience required.
Participants should bring light hand-held weights (2-5 lbs.), a yoga mat or towel, non-slip socks or no tread sneakers and water.
