"The intent of this unique choral event is to create an historical performance that will be recorded in the history of Mendon and remembered for many years to come. The songs selected by the Director and the Mendon 350th Committee will move the audience through a historical timeline bringing us from Mendon 1667 to Mendon of the present. This concert embodies, for the first time in 350 years, the concept of the original “Mother Mendon-” The coming together, as one voice, on one stage, of the nine municipalities once known as Mendon: Mendon, Bellingham, Upton, Uxbridge, Northbridge, Milford, Blackstone, Hopedale and Millville, for a unique, historic, anniversary concert singing together in celebration of our shared heritage.”

Composer Competition:
The winner of the Compser's Competition has been announced as follows:

There will be a nominal membership fee of  $10 (or less) for a concert binder, sheet music and a colored concert accessory (tie for men/boys, scarf for women/girls), which the member will own at the conclusion of the event.  The Mother Mendon Sings repertoire moves through an historical timeline and features some familiar choral pieces. Click here to view the repertoire.  Learning practice tracks will be posted on this site for choral members only. Online passwords will be sent via email to registered choral members.  Click here to access the Members Page.  Mother Mendon Sings choral members will be required to learn their music independently from the practice tracks.  There will be at least 2 (two) rehearsals scheduled prior to the concert.
